Juliet King MA, ATR-BC, LPC is a member of the Art Therapy faculty in the Department of Creative Arts Therapies at Drexel University. Ms. King received her MA in Art Therapy from Hahnemann University in 1998 and has spent the last decade as a clinician, administrator, and educator. Licensed as a Professional Counselor in both PA and NJ, Ms. King maintains a private practice servicing children, adolescents, and adults utilizing art and verbal psychotherapy. She has worked extensively with clients diagnosed with behavioral and conduct disorders. She has used her clinical knowledge in the development of a supplemental art therapy family support program in a neurofeedback treatment center, and an art therapy internship program through her work as program director for a non-profit community mental health center in Philadelphia. Ms. King has provided in-service trainings and lectures for undergraduate art therapy programs. She has also served as a supervisor, adjunct faculty, and thesis committee member in the graduate Art Therapy Program at Drexel University. Ms. King provides supervision for art therapists seeking registration and licensure.
